Songs
Hello and welcome to the Song Collection of the Ukulele Orchestra of Kamloops (UOK). Our Collection began with an eclectic selection of songs suggested by members who first gathered to enjoy singing and playing the ukulele together. Beginning with paper copies in a binder which grew into more and larger binders, the collection eventually morphed into the diverse collection of songs that you now can find on our website.
Thanks to our Music Mapping and Website Committees the collection continues to grow each month.
The best way to use our Song Collection is to download the .pdf file for the song to an electronic device (iPad, Android Tablet, Smart Phone or laptop.
Applications that our members use to view the songs include: SongbookPro, Songbook, OnSong and MobileSheets. If you're having problems, just ask.
The songs on the UOK website are intended for use by not-for-profit groups such as communities, schools, and clubs, and are not intended to be sold in any format including individual pages, binders, booklets.
How to download songs from the Ukulele Orchestra of Kamloops Music Library
iPad

Go to the UOK Website (https://www.ukuleleorchestraofkamloops.com/)

Open the Music Library

Click on Songs
-
Click on a letter of the alphabet, e.g. B

Click on a song, e.g. Before the Next Teardrop Falls

Click on the upload symbol in the upper right corner of the page.

Scroll to the left to find the symbol for SongbookPro

If you don’t see it, click on the three dots at the end of the row beside the song title.

Scroll down to find SongbookPro.

Click on the SongbookPro symbol to upload the song.

To download two or three Folders of select the folders you want > Click Download in the upper right corner > The file will appear as a .zip file (e.g. download 10.zip) in Downloads on your device > Select the file and click the upload symbol (Up arrow in a box) > Select SongbookPro and upload the folder.

Open the Music Library

Click on Songs

Click on a letter of the alphabet, e.g. B

Click on the song you want to download and move the cursor to the bottom of screen.

Several icons will appear:

Click on the icon to download the song. In some situations, that icon can be greyed out (not live). If that’s the case go to the top right corner of the page and click on to begin your download.

Go to the Downloads folder on your computer, tablet or phone and select the song you just downloaded. You can then save it to your desktop or other file folder where you’d like to store it.
